This CEO didn’t go to uni and never had a career plan
Australia Post chief Paul Graham left school and tried out a myriad of manual jobs. Now he is responsible for 63,000 employees.
Australia Post chief executive Paul Graham started working straight after high school and never had a career plan, which goes to demonstrate that having a plan, and not having a plan, can land executives in exactly the same place.
“I think it shows that a lot of people have very structured plans and that works for them. Some people don’t have structured plans, and it still works out,” he says, reflecting on his career.
